Where we work
Ghana School Aid (UK charity No. 299178) is entirely run by volunteers in the UK and Ghana. We have raised over £500,000 and supported more than 300 projects all around the country with a particular focus on some of the most remote regions, deprived communities and girls’ access to education.
We fund projects brought to us by the schools and communities focusing on basic infrastructure such as classrooms, roofs, toilets and washrooms, classroom equipment as well as learning centres that serve the whole of the community.

The map shows the regional distribution of the projects. We are committed to support schools and young people in education especially in remote and deprived settings, with a particular emphasis on enabling access to education for girls.
Over time we are planning to build up an interactive map or register of projects. Right now more information about individual projects can be obtained by going to our Welcome and News page where we report back on new and completed projects.
